Data Pump for MySQL 2010 is an excellent tool that lets you import to a MySQL database from any source compatible with ADO data (for example: MS Access, MS SQL, etc).
The Data Pump for MySQL 2010 assistant lets you build a direct ADO connection to the data you indicate, selecting the tables you want to extract the information from and place in the MySQL fields. Each of the scripts you create can be edited and modified. This way you can migrate information quickly and directly.
The MySQL tables can be created from scratch. Data Pump for MySQL 2010 can also be run from the command line. There are tools to connect with a MySQL server via SSH or HTTP.
